Sixty years
of trust.

The Godha Law Chamber name is synonymous with litigation in central India for more than 60 years. The foundation stone was laid by the late Sh. S.C. Godha, a senior advocate and pioneer of civil litigation in Madhya Pradesh.

Over the past six decades, we have evolved into one of the most prominent law offices of central India — counsel today to institutions, enterprises and individuals across the State.

Late Sh. S.C. Godha began practising as an advocate in Bhopal in the 1950s and, through his wits and will, became one of the most influential and successful advocates of his time. Godha Law Chamber is one of the longest-running law offices of Madhya Pradesh, and the practice today encompasses three generations. The chamber has produced a plethora of eminent lawyers, judges and legislators.

Godha Law Chamber comprises a robust team of highly skilled, motivated and experienced lawyers, delivering exceptional legal solutions and expert legal advice across diverse areas of legal practice. We aim to entirely comprehend the legal needs of the client and provide a complete end-to-end solution — surpassing the client's expectations.

The chamber has evolved with time to address the clients of the new millennium. Experience, exposure and evolution have helped us build a portfolio of clients that includes start-ups, angel investors and incubators.

02 The Chamber

A practice
built on continuity.

What began as a chamber before the District Bench has grown alongside the High Court of Madhya Pradesh — preserving an unbroken thread of practice across three generations of advocates.

Today the firm balances traditional dispute-resolution work with a steadily expanding advisory mandate — counsel for startups, investors, infrastructure groups, family enterprises and statutory bodies.

Our approach is unhurried. We prefer to know our clients well, advise candidly, and represent them with care over the full course of a matter — often spanning a generation of their own.

The chamber operates from a principal office in Arera Colony, Bhopal, with associate offices in Indore and Jabalpur.
